Meet Chris
A college senior at the University of Florida, Chris Broski is all about the data – and performance. He’s graduating with a degree in aerospace engineering and plans to work in space exploration or the fleet- readiness industry.
He also serves as captain of the men’s ice hockey club at the university and is a member of an engineering club that recently built a liquid-propulsion rocket engine. Needless to say, he knows a thing or two about research.
Why Buick
It’s no surprise, then, that when Broski began to look for vehicles last fall, he did his homework on factors such as technology, efficiency and, of course, design.
“It’s probably the engineering side of me, but before I purchase anything, I do extensive research to make sure I’m making a good decision. The Envista had great specs, and a super-sleek design. It looks really clean, drives like a dream and is just very appealing.”

The Envista is Broski’s first brand-new vehicle, and it’s been great for getting around campus and to and from his part-time job – not to mention transporting hockey equipment to practice or making a trip to the grocery store.
Favorite features
Comfort and Convenience
The Envista features that impress Broski the most are those that make the drive easier and more enjoyable, including cruise control, a first for him. He uses it on long trips to visit his girlfriend in Nashville and for trips around Florida.
Cargo
Prior to having his Envista at school, Broski rode a longboard, walked or asked for rides from his friends. Now, as an active person who loves fishing, camping and being outdoors, he appreciates being able to take his things with him wherever he goes. “The Envista holds a surprising amount of stuff,” he says. “I can put one of the rear seats down and it fits hockey sticks, a fishing rod or luggage. It’s really expanded the possibilities of what I can do.”
Technology
Broski appreciates having the latest technology features in his Envista, including the 11-inch diagonal infotainment touchscreen and connectivity, which he uses for navigation when he travels. “That’s been really nice, keeping things hands-free,” Broski says. “In my old vehicle, I had the GPS propped up in the cup holder, so I’m glad to have everything up front now.”
